I have not been into the recent vampire craze, but this was a fun novel. I liked how the point of view changed from chapter to chapter, and how Haig interprets vampire culture. The Radleys are a family of abstaining vampires, and the little excerpts from "The Abstainer's Handbook" could really apply to anyone fighting any kind of addiction (if you want to look that deeply into it). A silly book, but a welcome change from the last few things I've read!
