Despite the romance novel-esque title, this is one of my favorite books. It is also one of the only works of contemporary fiction that I have read multiple times. I get something a little different out of it each time I do. The characters are strong and weak, well developed enough that while reading it, I sometimes thought I might run into them on the street. This is what good fiction is made of. I know, I know, it's sort of cheating to re-read in the 52 book pick up, but I just saw the movie and felt the need to revisit.
