This book makes me want to take homesteading to the limit! I am inspired by the DIY approach to growing veggies, owning chickens and such. I like the sections where the two authors agree to disagree like any married couple. One thing that could be improved on in future printings would be the copyediting, lots of typos which make me pause. I'd also like to see a handy index as it is often hard to recall/find the section I want to reread. Overall, this book is fantastic. I've been giving it out to friends for gifts and they seem to dig it!
