Here's my problem with this book-- I just don't get the relationships. I'm the first to admit, my favorite parts of books are dialog and analyzing why people behave/feel the way they do. The two main characters of this series make no sense to me. I don't get Patch's appeal. Nora's mean and stupid. I don't understand why Vee puts up with her. The only decent human being in these two novels is apparently, Nora's Dad, who was murdered before the books even began. This book is just too deliberately dark and nasty for me. Almost like taking Twilight and making a real effort to make it meaner??? Anyway, I know I"ll finish the series because I hate loose ends, but I'm not going to enjoy it.
