পুরোপুরি সুন্দর!
A warm recollection of a fragile childhood. Walls tells her story of hunger, poverty, and coldness inflicted by parents who loved as they knew how and had rather high cultural standards, despite emotional and physical addictions. She tells how she ended up in a stable environment with a normal husband and job while her parents lived homeless on the streets of NYC. It was at times difficult to read, but helped broaden my palette of empathy.
