The heroine's brother is in prison for a crime of stupidity--a computer crime committed because he was angry at his girlfriend for the way she betrayed him. Heroine wants him out, so she agrees to take a date with her to a party at the business of a suspected money launderer, so the FBI can plant a bug in his office. It's supposed to be a one-time thing, but something messes up and she has to pretend to date him for a longer time. Only the pretend part starts feeling awfully real, even though he's a totally different type from any she's ever dated. This is a good read and a nice romance.
