Nicolas Sparks books tend to drag the first 200 pages because he has to explain every detail of every character's backgrounds lol. I still love reading his romance novels though! The ending of this particular book was pretty sad and unexpected! I teared up a bit! My favorite book by Nicolas is "The Guardian"! There is also a movie based on "Message in a Bottle"..i want to rent it!
