I finally got around to reading this one after starting and stopping several times. I've heard a lot of this material before, mostly from professors at BYU, but it was good to hear it directly from the source. I also loved all the personal stories and examples the author shared. I definitely connected with habits 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7. I would like to spend more time contemplating the principles he taught and how I can apply them in my life. I had a harder time getting excited about habits 4 and 6. I see their importance, but being an introverted person I have trouble getting excited about "synergizing". The third habit "Put First Things First" is probably the one I most need to work on. I love the quote by E. M. Gray that was shared in this chapter. "The successful person has the habit of doing the things failures don't like to do. They don't like doing them either necessarily. But their disliking is subordinated to the strength of their purpose." I feel like I was a lot better at this while in college. I've gotten a bit lazy over the past few years, so this was a good reminder.
