This is far and away one of the best and most inspiring books I've ever read. It made me want to quit the job that I had at the time and volunteer my service with some type of humanitarian organization. If you are interested in accounts of people who "do good in the world", you will find this to be enthralling (although sometimes depressing) reading. It's also a superb book about Haiti in general, its culture and its people. I highly recommend it.
