I'd rather give it 3.5 stars, but that's just not a choice. The dark, twisty content that makes the first too books fascinating pushes the 3rd a little too far. The first two have their sick, depressing moments but they are mixed with hope and love which I felt was a fun roller coaster to ride. The final book was too dark, too twisty, too sad for my liking. Although it ended well and she ended up with the man I hoped she would, the tiny little epilogue of happiness was not enough to offset the mood of the rest of the book. I really would have liked at least a full chapter devoted to the resolution! I certainly would recommend the books, but be prepared for the emotional toll the third one puts you through.
